Pearl Enterprises is Spreading Warmth this Season
‘Holiday Season’,aah!You
got that glee on your face.Yes we are entering December,the month of joy and
merriment power packed with parties and celebrations. Let’sconsider a slice of
the big party and dining hub in the city of Kolkata itself.Park Street is
soaked in the spirit of Yuletide for celebrating the festival of Christmas
since the dawn of early December.There’s arrangement of live musical
performances,the streets are brightly lit to add to the glory of the grand
affair.However, the paradox exists not too far from the alleys of Park Street.There
remain a group of people untouched by this mirth.They
never go on holiday from begging alms.They are self employed 365 days round
the year,irrespective of all festivals,celebrations and age.But yes when the
seasons of fun and frolic come,that urges a hope for some extra income to them.There
is a large section of the society that ever lives the life of underprivileged
which goes apparently unnoticed. To make the unnoticed noticeable Pearl Enterprises
contributes towards helping such needy and abandoned people. We take pride in being
associated with Wishes & Blessings,a Delhi based NGO. We have made our
creative contribution to help them raise funds to install solar power plants at
Gurukul (housing 200 above old and disabled
people).Recently we have helped Gurukul to run the Rs.1000 Campaign-An
event for CHANGE ! The solar power plant installed with the funds thus
collected, would avail warm water and electricity for the Gurukul residents.
Apart from that we have taken the endeavour to make a small contribution in
cash for making the campaign a success.For though we believe money can’t buy
happiness directly,it can definitely douse the effects of chill penury and bring
comfort to the old worn-out bones. We are sharing warmth this season for a
better and a greater cause and we welcome you to join us too.

Fun Fad At Pearl
Starting from home for an interview at Pearl Enterprises it was a heart in the mouth packed journey till I arrived on the 3rd floor and entered the office. The ambiance inside like a magic wand metamorphosed me into a carefree butterfly! Literally? Don’t get too serious about it. Before I had stepped inside, there was an image of a serious pin drop silence zone at Pearl Enterprises in my mind. Wondering how would I manage to work in an all work and no play zone a surprise awaited the moment I stepped inside the office. All laptops and desktops turned on in the operational mode with colorful images inviting the attraction of a newcomer. Later I came to know that’s called ‘social media marketing’; looks interesting I told myself but more interesting was the song playing in the background. What? ‘Song’? I mean music being played at work? Pinch yourself till the envious reality hurts you to what it takes to be jealous, for I’m talking about a true world-world inside Pearl Enterprises. Pretty enthusiastic bunch of people wearing not so serious look on the face but all seriousness and dedication showing up in their work.So my somber mood transformed into a normal one for I realized I had not dropped into an all aliens island. A majority of girls at work in Pearl - so now you can agree girls are more creative than guys. Jokes apart, it gave a serious moral boost to my not so serious female ego. Work is not about the serious look you wear on the face but the level of dedication your work shows. Coming to Pearl everyday feels like you come home from another home where a jovial family awaits to make work all fun.

Bone Creative People.
Or at least throw them a bone. If you see any at a park, museum, library, office or obscure live music joints, take a bone out from your purse or pocket or fanny-pack and carefully hand it to them. Because if you do, they’re going to commemorate your bone in a corner cave of their hearts to later channel into some form of obvious brilliance. In other words, they’re going to treasure it and manifest it in amazing ways.
Talk to them. Approach that song-writer, graphic designer or dancer in your local community and share a conversation. It will either be a very profound one or a very meaningless one. Nonetheless, you’re bound to take away from it something that is the farthest thing from small-talk.
Hire them. They notice everything and they can work odd hours (they’re awake anyway). They can find novel (easy) ways to do something or avoid doing something. They’re good with communication because they work hard on those abilities so their jokes can invoke non-pity laughs. So you are assured of a job done overnight and job done using innovative means. And you get some good laughs. Need more reasons to hire them? Here’s the most important one- They’re unemployed.
Love them. Dating a creative person will not get you going to fancy dinners at 5-stars in an Audi or a BMW. They will pick you up in a Mitsubishi or a Chevrolet and take you to a house party, or a jazz night where you might just experience the unimaginable- have a good time. Love for them is a laser quest. Do not be alarmed if they squeeze months of romantic and carnal gestures into one outstanding evening. It’s just the way they’re wired.
Spend time with them. If you do, you’ll find yourself doing things you hardly ever do. Like dancing, or cooking, or spending a full weekend sitting around and reading. They make great travel partners as they are willing to go long distances for food. They’re the ones who will introduce you to the pleasures of discovering obscure music, long nights under the stars, the beauty of the written word and numerous kinds of inexpensive alcohol. Either way, you’re bound to have some experiences you can narrate someday with a smile, almost like they’re fond memories.
So i would suggest you start collecting and gift-wrapping all the bones you can find. Chances are, after you’ve had your taste of them, you wouldn’t want your bone back. Or you’ll bone them back.
